Scotty has been running the McIvor business for over 30 years, handling everything from heavy machine moves to day‑to‑day engineering work. He’s the person behind the cranes, the lifting gear, the fabrication, and the problem‑solving that keeps customers’ projects moving.

With decades of hands‑on experience working with power presses, industrial plant, forklifts, and cranes, he knows how to plan, load, move, and install equipment safely and efficiently. If you need something lifting, shifting, building, or sorting out, he’s the one who’ll make it happen.

Over more than three decades, our Ilkeston yard has grown into a fully functional hub for everything we do. It’s where we maintain our lifting gear, cranes, and inspection equipment, and where we build the one‑off solutions that keep tricky jobs moving.

With welding, fabrication, and equipped workshops on site, this is the place that lets us solve problems quickly, make what a job needs, and keep our customers’ projects on track.
